Hi, I'm new, too. I figured salivating over Johnny's gawjussness would be a good way to begin my participation here. I love this topic but it's frustrating to answer. He looks damn good on so many occasions it's hard to choose. Here are just a few: When he snarls....there's nothing quite like the thrill of watching that man sneer into a camera When he does The Eyes...no further explanation needed When he grins...as a friend of mine has said, he has dimples till Tuesday When he leaps about on stage...I love his 70s anti-star contortions In every photo in Dennis Morris's book "Destroy." This is a jaw-dropping feast of eye candy masquerading as a gritty attempt to capture the 1977 Sex Pistols on tour. Lazysod, if u like Johnny in the GSTQ studio vid, take a look at some of the pics of him in here, in his soft white Destroy shirt and those same lethal leather pants.  Welcome Simonsezwhut! We here at P & V are glad to have you, AND I am oh SO HAPPY to get some more action on this thread-  --this thread should be far more popular than it is! I agree with all of the above (most especially his beautiful eyes and GORGEOUS dimples  )..........That is a WONDERFUL book, and I wish there were MORE picture books (especially from the later tours ;D) John looks DAMN good when he kinda narrows his eyes and looks HARD at an interviewer..........hard to describe but you know what I mean at once if you have ever seen him do it......... ;D |

Hey Snoogans4Jay-- Thanks for the welcome! Yes, it is an adorable moment--almost beyond bearing--when Johnny repeats his rude word to his shoes during the Grundy interview. Sigh. Now why can't I be the teacher who gets to chastise him? Oh, anyone happen to know what the cutie says after Grundy expresses his flippant horror at Johnny's rude word? My sister and I can only make out "Oh, all right, Siegfried..." but that's as far as we get. Anyone? Anyone? Now, if I were giving that chastising Grundy interview, here's how the whole thing would have gone down: lazysod: OK, everyone out of the room--except for that charming, pouty young man over there in the fuzzy sweater. Johnny: Oi? lazysod: Yep, yep, that's right. Come here, you. Closer. No, closer (patting my knee)... Johnny: Yer a bit balmy, aren't yer? lazysod: Shut up and kiss me. simonsezwhut-- Hey there. Thanks for the tip on other pics of Johnny in his special outfit. I will have to rush out and purchase the book you mention. Have you seen him in the Grundy interview? Isn't he beyond adorable in that? His almost-shy intoning of his "rude word" and the coquettish way he tries to take a pass by saying "Next question...?" [ John looks DAMN good when he kinda narrows his eyes and looks HARD at an interviewer..........hard to describe but you know what I mean at once if you have ever seen him do it......... ;D The eye narrowing is awesome, I agree. He does it in that YouTube vid where that cloddish dude is interviewing him on the street, when he says, "I don't know that yet" (referring to a better word for "freedom"). It's just peachy. But I also love when he yawns his eyes wide while keeping every other feature on his face absolutely unchanged...it's hilarious and hot as hell. Sometimes the eye yawn is accompanied by a nearly imperceptible twist of a grin, and sometimes he follows it up with a snarky quirk of one eyebrow, which is priceless. I wish I could recreate it in my Monday morning staff meetings. Obviously, I'm taken with the man's facial expressions; they're alternately cagey, theatrical, understated, playful and challenging, and just so much fun to watch. |

Hey, thanks. I imagine these alternative endings all the time. I have to do something at work, don't I? And I am sure I could find a way to "shut" Johnny up. Let me just proceed to drive you further nuts.........it includes the BOAT with him and Rammy and Miss Nora (you know, the pics where he and Rammy have no shirt and Miss Nora is in green?)......well you get to see THAT on film, here he and Rammy sing together (sort of), AND see an interview with John where he is eating (looks like calamari), Miss Nora is there, and Rammy is there. While John talks, Rammy EATS, reaching all across John to get MORE food in full camera view and obstructing our view of John temporarily with his grabbing arm Rammy gets to talk too, because he is interviewed along with Jordan's Mom at a "family" party while the show is going on. At the time they agree to disagree but the producer tells us that changed later (off camera Jordan's Mom slapped John  , John slapped back  , and of course Rammy intervened  ) We get to see John (no shirt) on the boat (Snoogans died here quite happily ;D0 One sweet thing, a fan walked up while John, Nora, and Rammy were eating and asked John for an autograph (after apologizing MUCH for interrupting his meal). John said "no problem at ALL" and invited the lady to sit down, signed an autograph for her husband (personalized and with kisses), and posed for pictures with the lady. He also kissed her on the cheek when she told him he looked no older than 25. John told her "I LOVE compliments like that" GOD he is a SWEETHEART |

I agree - I'd love to see the show as well. I can't imagine why they don't put out a DVD of it. I keep checking amazon.co.uk, but they only have the 2002 season available. I think if they put out the 2004 season, it would probably sell quite well.
