Is this the famous "Auntie Sue" doll (as in Ms. Catwoman) with the condom wrapped around it?!? Yep, I believe that would be the one

I Love Sid... He had the ability to look very very cool... ...even if he didn't quite know what to do with a bass! But hey, he could mimic a Pete Townsend-type windmill if need be: Not to mention a young Elvis snarl: :)Lots of people love Sid. There's John: And Jonsey: And Nancy, of course: Celebrities love Sid: The Bromley Contingent loves Sid (even if the feeling wasn't mutual!): Yes, people young and old, love Sid!

You know if there is a villian in Sid's story it is Anne Beverly (last posted picture). To me that is a bitch. At least Nancy loved him. To clear Sid's name would probably be good for Nancy too.......I would hate for the love of my life to be forever accused in my death........

She'd had a hard life and I think she was just as messed up as they were. She had been through two husbands, had to raise her son basically on her own, struggled with drug addiction, poverty, and abandonment her entire life....her story is just as sad as Sid's, but she sometimes gets pinned as the criminal because she gave Sid the heroin that killed him. She gave it to him. He took it. She didn't forcibly hold him down. : ( I just can't see any body in Sid's story as a villain. It's all just a sad series of events that didn't have to happen...but it did and pointing fingers, both at Nancy, Anne, or Sid, doesn't change that.

While I do agree that finger pointing 30 years later does nothing, I do not agree that she is blameless. I work with kids as fucked up as Sid was and in 99.9% of the cases the parents are directly responsible. SHE got him on drugs. SHE set the example. SHE put drugs first before him. If you are fucked up DON'T HAVE KIDS......if you can't get YOUR life together or have a penchant for abusers or drugs DON'T HAVE KIDS. How many times do we have to say it. No matter the atrocities these dumbasses commit their poor kids still love them. That will burn your ass bad. Once a kid is a "RAD" kid there is really nothing any doctor or foster or adoptive family can do. People like her just piss me off. {steps down off soap box and returns to Johnny lust}

I wish Sid had never gotten hooked on drugs. I believe he followed Anne's example down that dark path. Still, I feel Anne loved her son and vice-versa. She never abandoned him like his father did. She was a struggling single mom before it was as prevalent as it is today. It must have been very difficult for her with Sid's father never really in the picture. And without a strong "surrogate" to jump in and raise Sid, like many grandparents are forced to do today when the parents are on drugs, in jail, or whatever, what chance did he have? RE: Anne's obtaining that fatal dose of heroin for Sid immediately after he got out of Rikers - the dose that killed him, Anne of course should have said no. But like any heroin addict, I imagine Sid was bound and determined to get that fix. He would have gone out to make the buy himself if he had to. But Sid was just out of Riker's on bail. As a high-profile figure, he might have been watched by the police. Maybe Anne was fearful if Sid got caught, he would have violated his probation again, just like he did when he beat up Patti Smith's brother, and would have wound up back in a cell. We've heard the stories of what happened to Sid there... I think Anne loved Sid - in her own screwed up way.

Speaking of Sid's women, this tiny newspaper pic is the only photo I've been able to uncover of Michelle Robinson. About all I know of her is: (1) She dated Sid briefly during the time after Nancy's death (2) Sid died in her apartment (3) She was an actress, but I know nothing about her work. Since she lived in NYC, I'm assuming she was either doing plays or working in soaps at the time. Does anyone know what ever became of her an/dor have any large picss? Its hard to find out things about her because no one seems to know anything... It would be interesting to know who she was and how she meet Sid and what she does now.... This is the only picture I have been able to find of her.
