Back to fiction.......Amercian Pyscho.........Brett Easten Ellis..what an AUTHOR......that book is chilling, funny, too gross to read in parts but you can't stop. I have to say I gained a great deal of knowledge about different name brands, designer clothes, as well as Huey Lewis, Whitney Houston, and Genesis And at the end the protagonist remains at large.......THIS IS NOT AN EXIT indeed

Still Me......Christopher Reeve. As a nurse he taught me more with that book about how to relate to patients, does and don'ts....just everything. He is blunt, honest, and even humerous. Chris was a brilliant man and rarely has such a horrible and terrible accident been seen in such real terms. This book changed how I treat my patients. Superman in the real sense.

I love anything Sex Pistols-related. And I don't want to live this life is my favorite, I also like John's book. And I will order Glen's book as well so I'm sure I'll enjoy that one too. Other than that I like other music books such as "I'm with the band" by Pamela Des Barres... And I love true crime and true ghost stories

I'll bet Pet Semetary would give you nightmares - Carrie did it for me. That unexpected scene where the hand came out of the ground nearly made me hit the roof!

I'll bet Pet Semetary would give you nightmares - Carrie did it for me. That unexpected scene where the hand came out of the ground nearly made me hit the roof! Well the movie was good but not as good as it SHOULD have been. The book follows a doctor and his wife as they raise their two small children and deal with aging friends the wife of which seems to be "failing". After the 80 year old Mrs. Crandall dies, the husband owes a favor. He introduces Dr. Creed to a place in the woods beyond a Pet Semetary in which Indians had the superstition that the "ground was sour" and the dead without a soul could rise if touched by a being called the Wendigo. Dr. Creed scoffs at such notions until his two year old child is killed in a freak accident in the road. After this he can't stop thinking about how the Micmac burying ground might can raise the dead and could his wife and remaining child incorporate this risen being into their family. Just what would his little son BE if he returned. Despite warning horror stories of course Dr. Creed takes his chance and raises his baby son. The child becomes a demon and extracts revenge unholy upon his unsuspecting grieving mother and his father who knew. What parent would want to judge Dr. Creed? Even if you KNEW the danger would you not take a chance to raise your two year old? I think so even though I have no children myself. THAT is what makes this story so terrifying. We would ALL do it.
