"isn't too much being made of this?"..........well let me answer from my perspective. Yes. Probably so. But you know I am from Slash's era. I was there when he first came up and I admired him then. He was one of my own. He came up with the riff for Sweet Child O' Mine. Before it was ran into the ground, that was a beauty. He always had a mischievous yet somehow sweet smile. He looked like Cousin It with curls. He wrote a great book. He stood by Axl when others were against him. A brother who said "I can yell at him but don't YOU do it". I admired that. Greasy? Yeah, well I am sure many you find attractive would repel me. But I would not say that to you. I take my musicians pretty seriously despite outward appearances and I take insults against them as against me personally. That is just me. We all have our quirks I guess. Anyhows that is my soap box and my editorial and my last preach on the subject that is probably a bit ridiculous in daylight. But I don't care. It bothered me and hurt me personally somehow though I feel sure Slash himself couldn't give a cooked rat's ass. Back to John

I'm not sure I find Slash all that hot. Well sure he is, in some pics. And by 'some', I mean most of them. Still... he's not my type. Anyway, that's not my point. What I mean is this: Saul Hudson (sooo sorry, Kathy. I'd best explain; that's Slash's real name) is one of the best guitar players since Jimi Hendrix. That's all.

Does it matter whether you think he's 'greasy'? I think not. It doesn't really matter to anyone, does it? Except you? Riiiiight. Then again, you never post pictures of yourself on the internet. Hmmm... I do wonder why that is. Could it possibly be, Kathy, that you are in fact much greasier than you claim that Slash is? Could it be that your eyebrows are much less perfect than Sid's, and that your general body-type is very much like Kirstie Alley's? Until you do post that pic, there's no way of knowing.
