This man is one of my all time favorite performers. I have all of his CDs and today got Relapse I am listening to it now and I know it will take me awhile to get used to it and learn the songs/skits, but so far I LOVE it. I am especially touched and pleased with the inner notes tribute to Proof (DeShaun Holton) whom this CD is dedicated to. I can't imagine how hard losing him has been for Em Do you have this CD yet Lisse? What do you think? Anyone else an Eminem fan on here?

What songs stand out to you at the moment? I'm absolutely loving Underground, De Ja Vu, My Mom and 3 AM. Actually there's not a weak song in the bunch, I don't skip over any of them when I listen to the CD. I don't know how I would rank it comparing to his other albums, it is really different I find, The Eminem Show will probably remain my favourite, but Relapse definitely touches me the most. I'm really impressed by how he talks about his addiction. I've been hearing mixed info about him touring, I for one I'm keeping my fingers crossed, would like a chance to see him live at last. And I'm digging his new image. I'm definitely interested to hear more of what you think of it after you have listened to it enough to get used to it!

I'm guessing since the reason for him not touring is not wanting to be away from HJ, then he's probably not going to do too many European dates, I might have to get my ass over to the states to see him anyway, so it might work (although, if there's a gig in London, I'm there!)! I've been an avid fan since I was 10, so this man's music has had a lot to do with who I am now as a person, so I AM NOT MISSING HIM AGAIN! Everyone I know have moved on from his music, so I'm pouring out all my excitement here. Eminem himself says he hasn't even thought this far ahead (touring) and I'm already looking at plane tickets... I guess you must've seen this already but for anyone who hasn't Eminem was on Jonathan Ross, which took me for a surprise to be honest!

I like Eminem but I donĀ“t have his records.. I just pick thesongs I like from his videos.. "Sing for the moment" is my favourite...
I find it hard to understand his words bcause given that english is not my fist language I have to listen to the lyrics over and over again...

I like Eminem too actually, I think he has very beautiful songs...like Cleanin' out my closet and the songs he wrote for his daughter...and some of them just make me laugh I understand most of his lyrics, even though English is not my mothertongue, I guess I watch too many American sitcoms so I learn those simple American expressionsXD

My faves so far are "My Mom", "3a.m.", Bagpipes from Baghdad", "Same Song & Dance", "We Made You", "Old Time's Sake", "Must be the Ganja", "Underground", and "Stay Wide Awake"...........geez that is most of them I love them all though, like you I dont' skip any! I love how, as usual, he speaks so plainly about what he has been going through since we last heard from him. I was waiting for HIS update on Haley, Lannie, and Kim. I don't like the tabloids... I am so happy his sense of humor is still there, it is such a big part of what he does. All my fave characters are back in the skits, especially Ken

That one just speaks plain about what he went through with his Mom. The video was excellent as well. I am a real fan of Em's videos anyhow

LISSE!!! Where did you go? I thought we were going to talk Em here I'll be back&posting in...err...5 days. But I'll say one thing, I did not get how that Bruno thing was supposed to be funny. I haven't looked into it, but was it a PR stunt for the both of them or was it sort of a prank-ish thing on Eminem? Does anyone know? Would like to hear Em's comment on it, maybe I'd get it then. And I'm anxiously waiting for Relapse 2, I wish they'd set the release date. Oh and the emoticon is absolutely brilliant! You don't happen to have a Johnny one hidden away somewhere, have you? And I wanted to post this, I'm not a comic book person myself, but I plan to read this one as soon as I get some time, this is really neat! subscriptions.marvel.com/digitalcomics/view.htm?iid=12466&title=Talking about videos, I know it's been out for a while, but I did not get a chance to post about it before, how do you guys like the 3 AM video. I think it's one of my all time favourites, really complements the song well. But then again I'm always impressed by his videos and also by the album art. PS! I love how you listed almost all of the songs as as your favs off the record. Oh and from the skits I really like the Steve Berman one "Is that a bulletproof vest?" Err..okay maybe I had a bit more than just 'one thing' to say

Err..okay maybe I had a bit more than just 'one thing' to say hahhahaa, YES I love that Steve Berman skit ("I lost the use of my right arm you know"), and Ken Kaniff dancing naked at the 12 step meeting That video for 3am is AWESOME, Em really does them up right. It fits the song perfect and kind of has a Buffalo Bill/Blair Witch feel to it to me I too am anxiously and IMPATIENTLY awaiting Relapse 2. I hope he talks about Kim a bit, what is up with her and all. I miss that relationship on this CD even though it is kind of there through Hailie and Lainnie. The ultimate love/hate thing with those two.

I am one of the few musicians I know that actually like this guy. He is sometimes poignant and other times better than any comedian. I really love Cleaning Out My Closet for reasons I won't go into.

Yeah I have really been listening to all of his CDs alot lately . I really don't think I have a favorite song . I DO think Kim and 97 Bonnie and Clyde are among his most imaginative and well acted.
