Anyone have thoughts on this record? Hows about on the movie? What did/do you think?
I have always liked the record (I didn't know the whole story when I bought it). I treated it like a soundtrack, not a second release from the band, and that is really what it is. It is worth it for the tracks by John (few that they are), and Sid's contribution. Steve and Cookie, in my opinion, are fun too on this release.
The movie was kinda madcap, and slapstick, but it did have highlights here and there largely supplied by Sid and old footage of the real band. I was a bit shocked when I heard that the judge in the lawsuit between John and Malcolm had to read the script of this movie as evidence against Malcolm
