I agree that is the best performance of No Fun too but the band got CRUCIFIED for it at the time.......I remember reading one review where John is said to not be in any tune at all and was trying to throw up during the song   What show were THEY watching? I thought John tore his VOCAL chords out just performing the hellouta it  |

Oh goodness, where to even begin? I like EVERY Sex Pistols songs! However, if I had to choose, I would probably go with Submission. I love its slower pace and it stands out from the other tracks. In addition, I love Roadrunner where John forgets the lyrics to the song, and you can hear Paul yelling it out for him! Brilliant!

Oh goodness, where to even begin? I like EVERY Sex Pistols songs! However, if I had to choose, I would probably go with Submission. I love its slower pace and it stands out from the other tracks. In addition, I love Roadrunner where John forgets the lyrics to the song, and you can hear Paul yelling it out for him! Brilliant! I love Roadrunner too... .....it is just so cute to hear John bitch and moan about not knowing the words after he had JUST requested the song instead of Johnny B. Goode  |

Oh, and the amazing thing is, what an awesome song for not knowing the words! lol The man barely has to sing anything, and it's still manages to be one of my fave Pistols songs! hahahaha

I know, that song is so cute! I fell in love with their music by the first time I heard GSTQ. wow!! my heart stopped beating when I found that song... but now I can't choose.
Every note, every word, every John's yell... I love EVERYTHING Sex Pistols gave us.

Gotta agree with ya there; I LOVE "No Fun" with the passion of a million suns. I also love "New York", "EMI", "God Save the Queen", and "Anarchy in the U.K." "No Fun" with out a doubt. It still rocks my world and the sentiment and emotion there is so identifiable and authentic. "No Lip" is a close second. The Sex Pistols rocked some covers like no other band before or since. I sing this in the shower a lot. |
