Paul&Steve were the two "forgiven" Pistol boys but they were talented too. People turned mad with Sid&Johnny, but, well!! I like them too!!

(I`m just kidding.. don`t get nerveus... but I got really confused at first) .. but yeah.. it`s true Paul and Steve were kind of forgotten by some people.. speccially those girls who are into the pistols becuase they just wish they had sgagged Sid.. ask them about Paul or Steve and they won`t know shit  |

er........I think you mean SHAGGED instead of sgagged I hate that some people only think of Sid when they think of the Pistols because if you are at all familiar with the music you know just how ridiculous that is Yeah I meant shagged... Don't know why exactly but I think it is because the first sex pistols song I heard was 'something else'(one of my favorite songs) so I have known Sid longer than Glen It sounds silly but I hope you understand what I mean. And Glen is a way too nice for being in a band like the sex pistols... Don't you think? But anyway I respect Glen's work and I kinda have started to like him since I got into this forum and started to read more about him.  |

I don't think Sex Pistols would end up sounding like the Exploited but Glen defiantly was a good bass player! its just that everyone thought he was a cunt and so on and John never liked him but I got lots of respect for him, but I still think Sid fitted the band better. Don't get me wrong I got nothing against Glen, and I'm glad for that the Sex Pistols (all of them) are on tour again. In my opinion Sid was Punk, you don't need to be a good musician to play Punk, thats what Punk is about to be yourself and don't give a fuck. I don't think an overdose is punk! ofcourse not. I feel sorry for Sid, he got in that rock n roll lifestyle waay too much  R.I.P |

But I have to admit two things about our Sidney: (1) he could have stood to wash his feet (like Glen did) once in a while, because wll our Sid, RIP, could never be accused of being "clean" - except in that famous piccy from the American tour where they essentially walked him into the shower for a good, old-fashioned, AND MUCH OVERDUE, shower!!! (2) Sid definitely had the look, the style, and the attitude down pat...but let's face it - the Pistols wouldn't be the Pistols withoug Glen's many contributions with the writing and his talented bassplaying. I love Sid, but I adore Glen - always will!  |
