I feel that this board has been a little hard on a kid that did nothing less than human fault that we all know of. Sid has been made a joke by "fans" for not his own actions. THIS is the place to remember a 21 year old KID that just wanted to belong to his favorite band. A kid that never believed in love but found it in a troubled young woman hated by most. A kid that believed in the rebel yell for Anarchy by his favorite band long after they had abandoned it. A kid that is remembered for a habit he hated. A kid that was honest to a fault and even to this day inspires silence and strong emotion from a man he called his "best friend". A kid that for millions of disillusioned young people remains the icon of lost youth and rebellion. A kid who witnessed with indescribable horror the death of his "other". A kid who reached out to her mom. A kid presumed guilty until proven innocent by society. A kid that did not condone the "cult of Sid" just inspired it. Maybe there are many hurting and reaching out for understanding. Thank you Sid.
