Didn't have very many trick-or-treaters this year as there was a Tropical Storm in the area and the weather didn't cooperate. So there's enough Snickers and Kit-Kat bars around here to last through Thanksgiving at least!!!
For those here who celebrate Christmas, what's everyone hoping Santa leaves in their stockings? (For me it's hands down a couple tickets for a particular band that I've waited 30 years to see!!!)

I got trick or treaters at my dorm!! lol. but at my actual house, we never get trick or treaters, because we live in a rural area with only old people - no kids except for meeee. Christmas? My mom is taking my family to Sunriver (It's this like little resort town in Eastern Oregon) for Christmas, so that's part of my present. I think I'll probably just ask for CDs and DVDs (or just iTunes $$$) for Xmas.

Sounds like you're in for a picturesque Christmas in Sunriver, Mish! All the halloween leftovers were taken to work, thank goodness. Don't need anymore extra poundage around here. This Halloween was a real bust in comparison to this one a few years back when we went to this big party. My husband, brother, 2 brothers-in-law, and another guy got dressed up as Nysnc and performed Tearing up My Heart. It was hysterical as they weighed almost 1,500 pounds between the 5 of them. They really got into it and had the dance moves down pat. But thank God there was a paramedic and a doctor at the party, because one of the guys looked like he was having an attack by the end of the performance!!!

You should visit. It's beautiful here - year round, even when it rains. And Sunriver ins picturesque. There is this town about an hour away called Sisters where I used to go on Vacation. It's at the base of these three mountains called the Sister's (obviously) and this town is like a street of little shops in this ancient buildings. It's beautiful. Seriously. Eastern Oregon is mostly desert/mountains with a lot of trees interspersed. BEAUTIFUL. I went to the grocery store today and bought two bags of mini snickers for 82 cents each. I was suuuuper excited. Those little snickers help me stay awake during biology. I would take any extra candy anyone is willing to hand out. The NSYNC thing sounds HILARIOUS. Oh goodness. One year five of my guy friends dressed up as pimps - it was so funny. We were like 14 at the time.
