What did everyone get for Christmas/Channukah/Kwanzaa/etc.?

I got "Rocky Horror Picture Show", the Princess Bride DVD and book (yeah, there is a book!)

And a TON of Henry Rollins books...and I got "Four Seasons in Rome" and "About Grace" by Anthony Doerr (WHO I MET in October!!)

And I got "Dracula" by Bram Stoker, "Grimm's Fairytales Collection", and "Jane Eyre" plus the "Knowledge Book" (it's like a BIG encyclopedia of EVERYTHING condensed) and then... I got the unabridged dictionary! THAT'S how big of a NERD I am!!! You know that big, HUGE dictionary that is always in school libraries - it weighs like 20 pounds and is like at least 4 inches thick? Yeah, I asked for THAT for Christmas!!! : D

I also got some American Eagle Outfitters gift cards, a Barnes and Noble gift card (mooooore books!!!), and a gift card to the movie theatre. : D

I love Christmas because I LOVE my family. They knew EXACTLY what to get me without asking.

The best part of my presents? My mom printed out pictures of the Sex Pistols and MADE wrapping paper for some of my gifts. She did the same things with pictures of my friends... She's crafty, what can I say??! : )

I got a Total Gym.......do you think someone is trying to tell me something?

I also got money (it is the right size, the right color, etc)

And of course I got a couple of PiL LPs I didn't have (couldn't not get Johnny ya know ) Happy? and ALBUM...(I still need Cassette, must have the whole set)---and more clippings (I love to collect magazine clippings on John)

One never gets what one REALLY wants (John and/or Rammy)

Here in Chile there's a volcano erupting and the earth's been shaking everyday for the past 2 months or so
But isn't it kind of crazy everywhere?
I got a double DVD called PUNK:Attitude by Don Lett's for Christmas.......... smart Santa!
And a book by chilean novelist/poet Roberto Bolaño called Assasin Whores.
By the way...................

YEAH, Snoogs. You said it!

Speaking of the Sex Pistols and touring, it was 30 years ago on Tuesday, January 3, 1978, that the Pistols arrived in New York to begin their American tour.

Of course, unfortunately for yours truly over here who was a school girl with no possible way of getting to Atlanta, etc., the tour was limited mainly to the last place on earth you'd expect to see the Pistols perform - America's deep south.

In any event, according to legend, thanks to Sid's lack of cleanliness, the boys made it through customs lickety-split!
