Ok, we all know that Johnny seemed to have a disdain for most groupies, but I find it almost impossible to believe that he never got with a groupie EVER, if only a few times.So has anyone heard any stories of groupies being with Johnny ever? If so, please share them. Any well known groupies?

John was with some during the "scene" in the early seventies (Miss Nora's daughter states that John was in the company of "prostitutes") but after that as far as I know it was Miss Nora only *ahem*..  ....John seemed a very very shy young guy that wanted women to teach and instruct when he became involved. Don't forget that Sid's mother stated John turned redder in her presence than she has ever seen anyone since....  .....and many magazines from the era said John was "uncomfortable" with women. He peed in the mouth of a transvestite trying to give him head.......  ........bless his heart......... IF any other stories are out there I would also love to read them ;D methinks if given the chance and loyality didn't come into play, he would be a bit more... ;D....aggressive now........  |

She says practically the same things as in the other interview, that is that there was a gig on a college at St Albans by teenagers from London who played "awful kinda 60s music" and she thought it was a piss-take, that they were crap. "The singer who I found out was called Johnny Rotten came up and started chatting me up, a relationship developed, we walked hand in hand round St Albans in dustbin liners. I used to phone him up, his mom would say:Oh Johnny hasn't come home for his tea yet." (the transcription might not be accurate, as I'm not that good at English  ) |

I'm not really convinced that he even had a physical relationship with Linda. He called her a good friend (who had cash). While he may not have wanted to include all details regarding his relationships in his book (he seems to like to keep that stuff private & I can respect that), he did imply that there was at least one time with Linda's friend saying "Linda's girlfriend was a reason she and I fell apart because Linda found me with her one night." I get the impression Linda was more jealous regarding her girlfriend than John. Joan |
