Who has a sweet band they would like to share? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller? I have a few: the Virgins profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewProfile&friendID=36901461. I LOVE their song "Rich Girl"...it's the currently on my myspace. Awwwesome. Chris Connelly.... he doesn't have any music on his myspace, but he does have some adorable pictures of his son, Angus. ETA: that's a lie, he now DOES have music on his profile, check it! profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=30268371 He does have his albums for sale on iTunes, and you can also listen to previews. I recommend "Shipwreck" as the first album to buy - I LOVE the song "Diamonds Eat Diamonds" from that album, as well as "Early Nighters." Also, the Episodes is a great album (technically EP) but it takes a while to get used to. Recommend me some, homies!! Don't let me down.

We just saw (& heard) a new band today - well new for us, they apparently formed in 2004. " Cellofourte" is a quarter of young cello players from Carnegie Mellon & Duquesne Universities in the Pittsburgh area. We heard them at a free Sunday morning concert in Mellon Park. I've never heard a quarter consisting solely of cellos & they manage a very interesting sound & diversity in the selections they play - from Bach & Pachelbel to Metallica to their own compositions. You can check them out at www.cellofourte.net It was a beautiful day - just about 80 degrees - hardly any humidity - blue sky with puffy clouds - sitting in the park with cello music floating around us. After the concert we checked out an interesting art exhibit at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts next to the park. Excellent way to spend a Sunday! Joan

I am still waiting for my CD to arrive in the mail, but I happen to find Seventh Void entertaining. I like what they are doing. I'm going to see them open up for Static X in May.
