You know , I've seen a lot of pics of him from the SP era and his teeth did not look that bad to me at all. Is this part of the myth surrounding the SPs that was blown a bit out of proportion?

I think he had bad teeth yeah, he actually got his nickname "Rotten" because of his teeth!  Many people from England have bad teeth, I've heard that dental hygiene wasn't so good in the 70s. Sorry for my bad english |

But I haven't seen them in real life so I can't say if its was "rotten" or not. But Jonesy said it, he gave him the nickname didn't he?. But to me he's teeth looks good I don't care how his teeth was/is. I love him  |

He had cute little messed up teeth There are quite a few pictures though where you can see how yellow they got......not green though |

I agree with the poster of this thread--in most pictures I've seen of Johnny, his teeth don't really look that bad. But even if they did, he is hot. In fact, his bad/missing teeth only make him even hotter in a quirky, punky way. He is an anti-hero--as Sid described him--and rather reminiscent of the French 19th century poet Rimbaud in his purposeful "anti-gorgeosity". |
