Sex Pistols' football anthem
Sex Pistols pair Steve Jones and Paul Cook are penning a new anthem for Chelsea Football Club.
The duo are both fans of the club and are well aware of the potential pitfalls that await in their attempts to marry music and football.
"We want to do something that's not corny like all the other football songs," guitarist Jones said to the Sun.
"Music and football tend to produce appalling results when put together, that's what we want to avoid."
Chelsea have a history of enlisting musicians with a punk appeal, Madness frontman Suggs performing their 1997 FA Cup Final song "Blue Day".

It'll be absolutely brilliant if they do pull it off, but I can't imagine how they're going to avoid the corniness of it. I hope they'll make me ashamed of my skepticism.

At the time I mentioned that John & Rambo could do the same thing for Arsenal. I know it would be awesome
