I dunno if this is appropriate to be posting on a forum but here I go.
I've been pretty depressed lately, and thinking about life alot. Coming to some crossroads in life that at times feel really unbearable. When my back feels like its going to finally break I put on PiL and it comforts me. Like a warm blanket from a youthful time, when nothing hurt.
I can't explain how much of a help this band has been to me lately.

Their angst in those early days often helps me through tough times. It is reassuring just to know that others have had the same feelings and seem to understand. That has always been what has drawn me to music in general. Bands that can articulate how I feel at any given time and in a sense speak FOR me. I love Theme for that reason, Religion, Disappointed, Rise, just so many.

I totally agree with you S4J Even though I haven't heard that much of PIL, I do love the things I've heard and I can't wait to buy their albums.
