Well THIS one was filmed kinda far back, but still a very good show and worth getting for those of us who are fans of our Rambo

Johnny wore the same basic outfit he wore at Finsbury Park (it is NOT a stadium dammit )..........he took off the jacket and had on the blue PiL T-shirt he wore on MTV Looked so good all sweaty ... ;D...sweat coming through the shirt......... I stop now

BUT, this is really Rammy's DVD (well really it is mine, I bought it ) The Pistols themselves didn't do that much really different other than play their wonderful songs as only they can with John looking DAMN good . Johnny commented on dumbasses that throw ONE shoe at every show... ....he remarked how it must look for them to go home with only one shoe on He also commented on all the people giving the middle finger.......he was like "what punk manuel did you get THAT out of " and speculated they probably didn't even know what it means

On to Rammy and his DVD winning ways.... ......Several songs into the show a stage diver (this IS in Seattle after all), jumps on stage in front of John. The guy starts to jump around a bit preparing to dive back into the audience Well our man Rambo was like "that guy is IN FRONT OF JOHN"!? and that was all it took.... .....into action he sprang.........you barely get to NOTICE the stage diver before he is TACKLED by Rammy like a football and LIFTED all the way across the stage to the curtained area--- where we get an EXCELLENT view of Rammy TRIPPING the guy and landing all OVER him.......

Johnny doesn't exactly COMMENT but he DOES walk over to get a drink at the drum riser and give our Man of Action an approving thumbs up BUTTTT our Man's work is not done YET.... .....a POTENTIAL offender jumps on the stage shortly after the first is disposed of , but THIS clever guy manages to allude Our Boy by jumping back as soon as he jumps on.... .....but not before we SEE Rambo almost at him, poised and ready to spring should the dude get stupid and come back into the Forbidden Zone

Stay tuned, if THIS keeps up on future acquired DVDs, the Adventures of John and Rambo might make a surprising comeback--- without Glen (or WITH him )

Thumbs up for Rammy!!!! He was our little *man of action* for sure here....... I loved the review of this video......Rammy deserves a show to himself......And the blue...sweaty shirt......OMG!!! I love how this whole scenario played out......Rammy....I'm gonna kiss you for this one...you sly dog...you!!! Definately our *pugnacious protector*.... Thank you Snoogs...thank you so much.......

er........has anyone else noticed that mainly it is just me and the one person who has seen the least of these videos talking? I guess either no one else has them, has seen them, or cares to discuss what they have or don't have with those of us who haven't been around for as long as maybe they have ? Maybe it is just me I just love to talk Johnny.... ....with anyone.. ...anyone out there that feels the same?

I haven´t seen it.. but I personally don´t like to discuss that msuch.. I´ve been think well I read or saw I can´t remeber well that Johnny didn´t like compliments,, well I respect that...I love what he does... but I´m not going to post all about it I will keep it to myself... sometimed I feel inspired but that only happens sometime.. I´m not such a crazy fan but if you like complimenting it´s ok... each to his own...

Well I don´t have that dvd from Seatle.. but man.. Rambo´s everywhere... well I have no dvd form the 96 concerts so I can´t say much

I can understand and respect it if you don't like to discuss what you have or have not seen. I hope there are some fans out there that do like to discuss because there is nothing I love more than discussing different shows, CDs, photos etc with other fans......just call it a favorite hobby of mine, we all have them (hobbies) and they are no doubt as individual as we are.

I am really not bothered by the stated fact that John doesn't like compliments, because he will never read anything I write. What I write is written hopefully to share with other fans of John's who might feel the same as me and see that they are not the only ones that feel that way (or just to share how I feel for the sake of good natured enjoyment). I doubt any of that would keep John (or Rambo) awake at night if he did learn of it by some fluke of nature (which he won't). Having said that, I will point out that on a DVD interview I have with John he states on camera that he "loves being adored" by his fans (the interviewer pointed out screaming fans outside whenever John would appear in their view). He stated "well they don't want to throw bricks at me, it is all alright." Those are his words, not mine.

I agree with everything you said S4J..Sharing is a good thing....if you have something someone else does not...it is really nice if you bring your experience for others to learn from......I love to hear comments about things I don't know or don't have.....just my opinion...

He said that.. then he must have changed his mind because he said once to Danny DeVito (during an interview for one of Rotten tv´s episodes) that he couldn´t take compliments he said that after Danny told him that he liked the Sex Pistols to which Johnny laughed and then said that he couldn´t take compliments...

Nothing wrong with with sharing experiences or talking about Sex Pistols videos.. I have to thank Snoogs for having sent me those wonderful dvds but I don´t have time to see those dvds due to me collage work I´m sorry for not having time for my Sex Pistols dvds and besided.. I hate having to write reviews.. I´d rather read themm all I would say is that I liked the dvds or else but not write much about it...

I have that Rotten TV show episode with Danny DeVito. John didn't mean he didn't want compliments, just that he is shy and doesn't take them well (he tends to laugh and be nervous when face to face with someone he respects who is complimentary to him). That is common in those who are a bit shy and insecure, but it doesn't mean they shouldn't' be complimented or don't like to be complimented. Danny made a joke out of it to make Johnny feel a bit more at ease, but I had the impression that Johnny did like the compliment and was pleased by it. Just a shy person, and that is sweet.

I do appreciate anyone who tells me about anything that they have seen with Johnny. If I have it, we can talk about which parts we liked best If I don't have it, I will now know it exists, will enjoy hearing all about it, and can now try to find a copy myself. Winners all around Being a fan of John's should be fun as well as a learning experience

Damn.. I should apologise.. I´ve been having a "fucked up" attitude.. well not so fucked up.. but sometimes I´m not in a good mood.. That certainly IS a great compliment for him! And I second that ;D! As to the apology, I appreciate that, no need. We all have bad days and days when we may read things into what others have written that may not even be the way they had intended (er.......did I just make any sense at all with that? Well I know what I mean dammit )

Hey Snoogs.. remember when I posted a review about the NMTB dvd and complained that nobody read it and you said that everytime you wrote a review nobody read it too .. well you are complaining that nobody expept for me and Tao are reading or posting something about those reviews well it`s not a complaint but it`s something close to that I think

You are right in a sense. The board will not remain without members participating. I love this board, feel that it is unique among John related sites, and would hate to have to delete it. But I can't just talk to myself (gets kinda.... .....well..... ...I dunno.. ...schizo..... ....after awhile ).
