Ok...I just watched this on YouTube and I must say those people were IDIOTS!!!! I loved *Bodies* and *No Feelings*....and they did some really good filming for a bootleg show.....But I just don't blame Johnny at all for leaving when he did....those bottles could have hurt somebody or worse!!! I mean he just absolutely let that audience have it......We got to hear Jonesy's great guitar licks....as well as watching Glen do what he does best....but Johnny shone like a star....his little dances were so cute!!!! But sadly....this was so short.......but that stupid audience got what it had coming to them.....Thank God for Johnny!!!!

I have this DVD and just let me say the people throwing bottles would have some serious trouble getting my boot out of their ass at the premature end of this show . John looked INCREDIBLE and sounded even better, he was HOWLING on some of those songs, just AWESOME. He had his cute little "I just bought this shirt at Hippie's R Us" looking shirt on and his red treasure troll doll hair.....the band sounded great.....and the stupid fucking audience wouldn't stop throwing bottles.  I could have ripped the throat out of the asshole who said "GO AWAY" when John asked if the crowd wanted the band to stay or go away. DICKHEAD About 20 minutes into the set a bottle hit Jonesy and it was all over. He told the audience where they could stick it and John said "Bye Bye" and it was over. John held up the bottle that came at Jonesy and it looked like a damn wine bottle, HUGE. IDIOTS indeed Thank God none of our Boys got hurt  |

I have this dvd as well thanks to someone who sent it to me from the USA and it wasn´t you Snoogs I´m sorry...  I agree with both of you about those MORONS who twrew the bottles.. they might have thought that by doing that the were some tribut to Vicious or something ABSOLUTE IDIOTS AND I´M GLAD JOHN WALKED AWAY... haha |

nope it sure WASN'T me........I am glad you found a new source I have never understood why people would pay good money to see a band they are SUPPOSED to love and then throw shit that could hurt them. Tribute to Sid? That is what John has said people seem to think they are doing too, some kind of fashion statement that is just moronic......Any fool should realize a band is not going to stay on a stage and be a human target. IF they ever tour again and IF I see them and IF someone throws something God help them is all I have to say

I have never understood why people would pay good money to see a band they are SUPPOSED to love and then throw shit that could hurt them. Roskilde is a festival, and as long as people pay the entry-fee, they can see any band they want. So the audience at the time was probably filled with both fans and people who just wanted to mess things up. Most likely while being very drunk. So yeah. But that is of course not an excuse for throwing bottles at them! Obviously Rambo wasn't with them, or else we would probably have seen a guy come running out and throwing himself off the stage and onto the people who threw the bottles. xD |
