As a declaimer.. I didn`t creat this to start a discussion over cults but I felt the need to inform how morbid and cheaters can some cult leaders be... if the moderators think this is an useless threat.. then you can delete it... There is this cult leader that calles himself "Master of love".. he`s argentinian (from the northern province of Jujuy) .. he created this cult full of followers who think he`s GOD .. now he`s been accused by one of his followers of child abuse... and it turned out that that person who reported the abuse was not the only one... there were more... Don`t get me wrong.. I`m very tolerant with religion even when I don`t practice it.. but it makes me sick to see people giving up all they have just to give money to thos bastard and make them richer...

Nothing wrong with discussing cults.... This is the same old story isn't it? No matter the country all cult leaders seem to crave sex with their young slaves...er...followers. This man sounds no different than Jim Jones, Charles Manson, David Koresh, that polygamist guy with the wives and kids in weird clothes that was recently arrested. Whatever the hell they called their cult. I get so sick of people being GULLIBLE enough to follow these jokers. What IS it? Can you REALLY be that starved for someone to tell you what to do? I dont' get it. If it is fear of Hell I wouldn't think it would be TOO hard to figure out if the guy is trying to have sex with CHILDREN he isn't on the right road if there are in fact roads to be on.

Yeah.. this guy who calles himself "The master of love" (Maestro Amor, in spanish) said to this guy who has suffered abused as a child and when he joined the cult he tried to get over that abuse but this wanker said that the best way to get over an abuse is by going through another abuse or some weird bullshit... WHEN THE HELL ANOTHER ABUSE WAS THE BEST WAY TO GO THROUGH ANOTHER ABUSE!!!! this master of love is a FUCKING joke!!! he`s in jail now but I bet he`ll be released from jail soon...

HE ABUSED CHILDREN AND THERE`S A PROOF OF THAT!!!! who the hell would invent that??? and why should a leader have enemies??? those guys invent that shit to keep their brainwached followers... those fucker who give up all their mmoney to keep that fat bastard rich and then they complain of the ecomomy crisis... IDIOTS!!!!

I have never understood the Karma of cults or the reasons behind the devotion to them. I DO understand fear of Hell and the desire to shed the Earthly mortal coil and become something better. But common sense has forbid me to join not only cults but most religions. I find that most have very little to do with common sense in general and that is my stanza. I like to ask questions, philosophize, and study. Most religions and certainly ALL cults, discourage this. I am not sure I will ever find my place, a place where I can truly get 100% behind a belief structure and support it as fact. How can ANYONE know the truth until they are dead. And then it is too late. Our deity's final joke on us.

About these things - I actually do not understand how a person can fall into something like that. Or what makes her believe all the crap, which these cunts use and force her to do things. Everyone should get hold of what he/she does, not someone else...

I was brought up in a very strict Southern Baptist home but I learned and thought for myself in the end. I couldn't accept anything without question, especially things that don't seem to make sense or just don't seem RIGHT to me. So it is WAY hard for me to understand those that "prey victim" to cults.......I just don't get it either.

I went to a Catholic school (hahahahaha) and we had to watch this video on cults one time. And it talked about how people who are most likely to join cults are between 18 and 24, aren't in college, and are kind of confused as to what they want to do. Basically, what happens is people get invited to "parties" or "retreats" and kids go, not because they know what it is, but because it's just a party and who doesn't like parties? well, they get there and they aren't fed and they keep them up all night and feed them really low protein food, so they get really disoriented after a while. So once the leaders are like, "so kids, wanna join the cult?" they're all so exhausted and disoriented that they just say yes so maybe they can leave. It's not necessarily that anyone in a cult believes it but they aren't 100% sure they can leave (or they are scared to leave.)
Anyway! That's just what I was taught in school, but I find the whole cult thing kind of disturbingly fascinating. I can see how people can be lured into it, especially after the above circumstance (which I actually don't know is true, obviously, it's just what I learned from a high school documentary ha).

I agree that many got lured into cults thru parties and the promise of fun and answers. However, my bullshit barometer is fully functional and if I sober up and then it doesn't make sense, I am gone. I would be more afraid to stay than of what they could do to me I believe. However I say that having never been there. Fundamentalism is the only cult I have been subjected to and I think it is safe to say that for the most part it didn't work, although fear of Hell as well as a belief in it as a real place, is still there and probably always will be.
