I've heard that John lost a friend that was in one of the planes that flew into the Twin Towers in New York (John was supposed to be on the plane too) He told the story on a UK tv show a few years ago.  This was totally new to me...... I feel so sorry for John. But the question is, does anyone know what tv show it was? I'd like to see it. I'm amazed I didn't know about this until today.... |

I think someone got this WAY wrong. Unless documented evidence from John can be found, I believe this has gotten confused with the Lockerbie, Scotland terrorist plane bombing of 1988. John and his wife, Nora, were supposed to be passengers on that flight but were delayed by Nora's late packing and missed the flight. John was FURIOUS at Nora until they saw the news and heard about the bombing where all 270 passengers perished. |

Yes, that was me who fed Nat said misinformation. I can only blame my mother who saw a Rotten TV interview and told me it was 9/11.
