New supergroup formed in Los Angeles with Josh Homme (Kyuss/Queens Of The Stone Age) on vocals and guitar, John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin) on bass and Dave Grohl (Nirvana/Foo Fighters) on drums.
Gonna see them Dec 17th at the Hammersmith Apollo.
Very little is known about the whole project other than the debut album will drop early 2010 and that it has a kind of 'barnyard-at-night' vibe. Live YouTube videos are of terrible quality but this, a small snippet from the studio of a song called 'Elephants', is actually okay.
So far, this December, I got New York Dolls, Them Crooked Vultures and PIL. Fuckin' well stoked!
