I thought it was a good idea to post about those famous email hoaxes... Every time I sign in on msn and check my mails Ialways receive those mails about people dissapearing or that of hotmail about to be closed down, or those viruses warnings...  |

I thought it was a good idea to post about those famous email hoaxes... Every time I sign in on msn and check my mails Ialways receive those mails about people disappearing or that of hotmail about to be closed down, or those viruses warnings... Not exactly what Mrs. Lorre means I think but I joined an email list for Prince Harry sometime ago and there was talk of a lady that had pretended online to be Prince William for some time. This woman pretended to others, one particular handicapped lady, that she was Prince William even before Princess Diana's death. When Diana died this woman truly did believe that the brave young boy she was watching walking behind his Mother's casket was her special online friend. It was only later when she tried to send condolences to the family that she realized she had been had. The perpetrator tried even after that to tell her she had connections to Prince William and could let her speak with him. This turned out to be totally untrue as well. Watch out people. ANYONE can claim to be ANYONE online. I have personally seen it happen as well. Just be careful. |
