If you could choose to live (grow up, be a teenager, whatever) in any decade at any time when would it be? You can choose an idealized retrospective time such as "the 1950s we see in 50s teen movies", or "the sixties as a bonafide hippie", or "the seventies punk era as someone on the ground floor of that movement" , or "the 80's in the time of Madonna and Boy George", or "the 90's grunge era Seattle late 80s early 90s", or even "the 30's or 40's golden era of Hollywood time"

Just would be fun to see what people would want to do I think.

I would have chosed to live through the 1930s and 1940s because my favourite people were from that time.. well.. actaully favourite man

And because the 1930s were glamorous and I loved the movies from that time but I`m not so much into ganster`s movies.. I prefer movies about bald mad doctors

I thought you might choose that time period I chose the 80s just because I love the music so much from those times. I would want it to be the late 80s though so I could move to Seattle and pick up on the grunge scene when it was hot.

Mmmmm, this is hard. I'd like to be born sometime in the 50's, then become a teenager in the 60s. I would love to experience the hippie movement, go to Woodstock, etc. Then in the 70's I'd go to CBGBs every night and hang out with all the bands who played there. Ramones, Blondie, Richard Hell & The Voidoids, oh yes!. I'd be a part of the scene in New York and then in 1977 when it all became BIG in London I'd travel there where I'd meet the Sex Pistols and other British bands that I like, I would also have my own band. I'd also looooove to see early Marilyn Manson live in the 90s and go to Seattle and experience the Grunge scene. I would love to be a part of the golden era of Hollywood too though, 'cause I love the movies back then. But music means a bit more to me so my vote goes to the 70's 'cause I'd love to be a part of the Punk scene and hang out with the Sex Pistols 'cause they are my favorite band

Yeah I am the same way, I would love to experience lots of them. Maybe that is why I find vampires so attractive, they never get old so they COULD have experienced all those different periods as a teenager

I would really like to go back to the 50s. I mean the ideal of what the 50s were. I don't know if they were really like that but I love the drag races and sock hops you see in the films and just the general rebellion against those that hated rock music in it's original pretty innocent form. I also love the roles that men and women had in those times and how the women you see always seemed to try to look d*mn good for her man.

I agree. I look at that time period and wish I was there too though I love the way you look NOW as opposed to how you would have looked with the fashion of the time. I agree about the woman looking hot for her man though. I will always do that
