Should we close this board or just leave it for posterity? We seem to have extreme limited participation and interest lately. I will plan to shut it April of 2010 if we can't pick it up. Just make it an archive so to speak  We have done a damn good job I think and are sort of kind of unique in the John world.  |

I don`t know what happened to the people.. they register but never post.. I try to post but I have my board to take care of... but at least I had contributed to the fanfic section...

Well I think, as Shandon had previously pointed out, that many come here looking for up to the minute information on John and it isn't here. I just don't have the time anymore to look for it. Of course I welcome anything new and new pictures any members want to post, but life happens and sometimes these things take a back seat. There are also other interests that materialize over time and are often not shared. Such is the way of the Internet  |

Maybe it just needs to be advertised a bit more? I mean, with the reunion of PiL, you might get a bit more traffic once the name is out there a tad bit. (Don't let it die, I just got here! Ah!)

If she advertises it more she needs to return the majority of posts to topic in my opinion for it to be successful. If people are coming here expecting to see John Lydon news, that is what you should deliver. |

Hi--I'm (very) new here, and I hope you don't close the board. It's a nice alternative to the boards that are more concerned with who played third bass on the fifth album, etc. etc. I can see how it's hard to find new info. I have none myself, living in the U.S. (and not in L.A.  ). But hopefully the reunion tour will bring more news. I have no idea how one advertises a board. I found this through a thread on the God Save the Sex Pistols board, which in itself was not very easy to find. |

I know that I have not been posting lately. However, that's because I seem to have a lot going on right now that limits the amount of time I spend on the internet, not a lack of interest in the board. I'm hoping that you'll still be here when I do have the time to visit more frequently. Besides - I'm still working on "mini-Gunter Grove" - I need to have somewhere to post the pictures when it is done! Joan |

What you had posted before was just unbelievably good It is just demoralizing sometimes when there seems no interest. But of course you are right, everybody does get busy with the day to day of just regular life and obligations. It is pretty much the same with me many times. I plan to keep it open as long as I feel the members at least want it. |
