Sex Pistols? PiL? John himself? I would love to know especially now with the long awaited reformation of PiL what our members have to say on this.

I can't see either the Sex Pistols or PiL without John Lydon at the center. So for me, it's John.
NMTB will always be in my top three albums. That said, over the years I've grown to be more in PiL's camp. You could put their 30-year-old albums on the radio today (not that anyone would), and they'd still sound ahead of their time. Even the synth parts aren't dated--I don't think you can say that of any other band!

Although I have more a personal pull to the Pistols and those men that have reformed the band since 1996. I would love so much to just have a station start playing PiL in regular rotation without explanation and see what kind of reaction they would get. I would bet most people would be blown completely away. They never did get a fair shake in the States in my opinion.
