April 4th. Goodbye to Kurt Cobain who took his own life in 1994 and to Layne Staley whose life was taken in 2002. God bless. We love both of you guys and we won't forget. Not ever.

Looks like Kurt is finally going to get his big Hollywood movie. Robert Pattinson of Twilight fame has landed the role apparently, and Scarlett Johanson is hotly tipped to play Courtney. Speaking of Courtney, she has final say over casting, music and screenplay, and she wants David Fincher (Se7en, Alien 3) to direct the film in a dark and gritty style. The only thing that bugs me with Courtney is that you know she's going to portray herself like Mother Theresa.

Well . Sigh . I only hope Mr. Pattinson and Miss Johansen watch The Doors movie that Oliver Stone did and pay close attention to the incredible performances rendered by Val Kilmer and Meg Ryan. Follow in those footsteps RPattz and actually listen to and study Kurt's music AND persona. Don't pay attention to the bullshit. Strip away the lies Rob, and concentrate on the honor of playing such a real and talented person. I hope I am proven very wrong and you CAN pull this off.

Jesus. I guess the Widow Cobain has a thing for Pattinson now. This is just sad. I hate to see Kurt Cobain's life cheapened by teen idol-dom, the thing he hated the most.
