Okay so I can't find the link to youtube right now, but has anyone seen the PiL interview where John walks offstage after going on a mini rant and then the host makes a snide remark and Jah Wobble walks off while ranting, but he's bleeped out the entire time leading me to believe he unleashed a slew of hilarious swearing onto the host. I'll try to find it. it's so funny because Jah gets bleeped then sort of walks off, then comes back, rips his microphone off, and throws it onto the table. It was HILARIOUS.

Has it ever been revealed just what Jah's saying as he's walking off the stage in the '79 Check it Out interview? The "bleep" goes on and on - he must have really told them!!

I wondered the same thing, that is hysterical......he just took right over from John (whom might not have gotten so pissed if the interviewers weren't so damn belligerent with him )

He didn't mind what the people on the video said it was that the interviews were setting him up. It's like "hey let's poke this bear with a stick...wait the bear is attacking...that's not fair!" interviewrs did that all the time to him.

I can only imagine that it is pure, undiluted insulting/cursing/angry genius. The length of the bleep just cracks me up. LOL. Oh Jah.

You're right - I can't think of any other bleep that goes on half as long as Jah's! What's unfortunate is that in some of the YouTube clips, you don't get the whole picture. Some begin with John walking off, and if you don't know what preceded, a viewer might think he's being unreasonably difficult. Not all show how the interviewer was setting John up to be insulted, which led him to walk off in the first place, and then for Jah to ask if they could ask an intelligent question or not, and the infamous bbllllleeeeeeepppppp! Way to go, Jah!

if I ever interview Jah, for whatever reason, I will be sure to ask him what he said.. ..if he can remember.

One of the interviews (video anyway) that I really like with John is an "extra" on the Punk Rock Movie DVD. Peter Clifton interviews John in Australia while he is there doing shows with PIL (1983). It starts with John not being willing to give up his beer:
John: "Rolling" - trying to get the interview started Peter: "Are you going to get rid of that beer?" John: "Down my gullet, yeah" Peter: "OK, . . ." John: "Why? Is it illegal in Aussie?" Peter: "No, it's not . . ." John: "You can't talk to me if I've got a beer bottle in my hands? Shame on you."
John is smiling the whole time & seems to like the guy so it ends up being an entertaining 20 minutes.
[The interview is much more enjoyable than the movie itself.]

Thanks for posting... This video was a little confusing at first, because it made me believe it was footage from the '77 boat trip. But then I said, hey wait a second, this can't possibly be from 1977 --- the scenery doesn't look 31 years old! Still, I was half expecting to see a shot of young John on the deck commenting "ever get the feeling you'd been trapped!!!" When a modern version of him suddenly popped up on the TV screen, I knew I'd been had!!!

When the boat appeared, I thought 'Pistols did another boat trip when Kiss This came out??How come it isn't mentioned anywhere?' Also, did you noticed Don Letts in a chequered jacket with a camera in the first minute of the first video? Or is it someone else?

Yes - I really liked the slicked back look - I never saw him with his hair like that before.
But, mashrum - I'm not sure that there was anything really bad said about Sid. I think John was just being honest.
