Phil passed away this season and if you ever watched the show you know Phil was one of the kindest but most outspoken skippers out there. His boat was the Cornelia Marie. I loved the show and really started watching because of Sig Hansen and Phil Harris. He will be so missed on that show by the fans. I watched this season where he had had the stroke and at first it looked like he would recover in record time. But suddenly he started talking as if he wasn't going to walk out of the hospital and within a day of that he was gone. I guess it is true that you can indeed tell when your time is getting short during a period of extreme illness. So sad to see his ship sitting there in the dock without him.  |

Seems like a good guy. I agree that seeing the boat sitting there in the harbor was really sad. Nothing wrong with loving Harleys, hard living, and living life on your own terms. RIP Capt. Phil.

One more for the good Capt. I LOVE this song by Warren Zevon ("Werewolves of London" is his most famous song). This one is just gorgeous and it is SO Capt. Phil. Godspeed Sir.
