John's 2007 Press Conference on youtube

MY GOD that man looks damn good and I so love when he gets that fire in those eyes and yells......

Oh and our Rammy is there too and John refers to him more than once during the press conference

Okay, no one has replied (&^%*#@ ) so here I go with my favorite moments........

First, the part where John was talking about British Pride, but then got off on "I'm proud to be an American" taunting the Guitar Hero representative from the states........but then John quickly realized he probably shouldn't have said to the guy "Are you proud to be an American? I am.".........because he had just been talking British pride and the stupid journalists probably wouldn't understand what he meant.........so Baby talked REALLLLY fast and changed the subject to how stupid it was that he was censored on Leno.

Next.......I Loved when he lost it with the rude female reporter and called her a cow and a whore........how DARE she say "Finish the question" to John in that rude tone..... ANNNNNNNNND I loved how he covered when he reailzed he had gone too far........."I didn't say whore, I said or".........sweet precious Baby ;D

Third, I loved when he tossed the mic to the stupid reporter that said "you didn't let me finish" and Baby said "FINISH, YOU have the mic".........and Baby yelled loud enough to be heard without a mic......... that was SEXXXXXXXXXXY

Last, I LOVED LOVED LOVED when he lit that cigar/cig and smoked........DAMMMIT TO HELL HE SMOKES ALL SEXXXXXXXY......and when little Rammy came out and warned him and he said all sexy/defiant "let it happen".......just........GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAa ;D ;D ;D

I was planning on finding the time to watch it but after reading he refers to Rammy more than once I wasted no more time and squeezed it into my daily schedule and it was well worth it, a lot better than the edited version (well obviously). Really odd how shy the reporters were, but considering some of the questions, it was probably better they kept their mouths shut.. you'd think they'd be a bit more prepared, especially since it's quite a rare occasion when you get to interview Johnny. The question about what the 19-year-old John would think of him as he is now really had me go WTF . Aaaaanyway.. the reporters aren't the important part of the interview. I love Johnny's look in this video, this footage has got to be up there with my other favourites (and when I say other favourites I mean AAALLLL of the videos I've ever seen. ). Trying to think of the top moments.. have to agree with the ''whore''/''or'' part and throwing the mic at that guy, I really like how he handled those situations, Rammy whispering in his ear was a real bonus...oohh and all those great quotes about Arsenal. Talking about Rammy... I must've seriously misheard something but.. did John say Rammy was in the band he went to Ireland with? Surely that was wishful hearing (that's not really a valid expression) ... Hh.. damn I was hoping to make a few more posts but my times up. :/

As soon as I meet my deadlines I'll be able to watch it and comment on it....
In fact since it's kind of hard for me to undestand ALL of it because I'm not very used to the accent... I'll aid myself with a full transcript of the conference I found on JohnLydon.com.

Thanks for pointing to the youtube link. I had read the transcript on John's site, but it is so much better to watch John. Haven't had time to go through the whole thing, but I did get it downloaded.

you can download programs that you can use to basically steal youtube videos. I don't remember what the programs are called though otherwise I would tell you to google on to find a download of it.

Presumably someone else can point you in that direction...? I've helped as much as I can!!

Youtube won't load on my computer right now (school ethernet = crappy) so I haven't been able to watch it yet. I've read the transcript and it was fun in itself, but I think the video would be much more powerful. When and if I get the chance to watch it, I will share my opinion.

Oh, and I just want to point out that I was JOKING about people not replying to my post, it had been less than a day since I had posted it...... It is just that when one sees something of Johnny's that is that good one wants to share it and kinda be like "OOOOOOOOOOOO LOOK AT THAT, DID YOU SEE THAT"... ;D..........that was how I meant it.... .....kinda "dammit no one to share a Johnny favorite moment with again"

One of the best Christmas gifts Bob gave me (in addition to the new computer - he's a pretty good catch) was a UK magazine called "The Ulimate DVD Burning Handbook". And one of the first sections I read in it was "Download video from the web".

Based on that I downloaded a free program from:

www.dvdvideosoft.com

This program "Free YouTube to iPod Converter" allows you to download from YouTube to an iPod converter. Using the program is pretty simple, you basically copy & paste the URL for the YouTube video clip in the Input box and then identify where you want the output file to be stored. It will be saved as a *.mp4 file that you can play in Quicktime. Most video edit software will read *.mp4 as well if you want to take the video & make a DVD or otherwise "play" with it.

The magazine recommended that you select the top option (highest quality) from the presets drop-down menu for the format to be saved to your hard drive.

The magazine does recommend that you be careful with "free software" to be sure you aren't downloading spyware &/or other un-wanted "stuff". This particular program has worked very well for me so far & I haven't had any problems with it, though it seems to be pretty specific to YouTube video.



I still need to read more on how to get flash video from the web - that's my next objective.

I am downloading it now.. .....I am like you, I am always afraid that my favorite videos will disappear from the site.....and so many of them are oh so delectable
