It is pretty scary - but good that Nora was able to get out. I read a number of articles about the fire on the web. Most said pretty much the same thing. However, did anyone else read the one at: www.unrealitytv.co.uk/im-a-celebrity/john-lydons-johnny-rotten-house-burns-down-and-he-has-no-insurance/Part of this article states: " Lydon was in Russia with his friend PiL at the time of the fire and told The Daily Mail:
‘We were gutted and so was the kitchen. Nora was rushing around back in London while I was rushing around in Russia with PiL’ " Funny - John says that he was "rushing around in Russia with PiL" and this reporter thinks he was talking about a friend.  Guess they aren't into music very much - must spend too much time watching I'm a Celebrity! Joan |

Wow, we really hate to hear that but thank God his wife escaped and apparently no one was injured. It is humbling how quickly a lifetimes worth of possessions can be gone.

So so sorry to hear about John's home in London. As Shandon said, we are so grateful Nora got out, but there are so many little keepsakes that can never be replaced and no monetary value can be given when these things happen. |
