I finally got these and I must say they are filmed very very well. These will definitely hold us until the official release comes out (and I hope there are more Brixton, Manchester, and Glasgow videos out there to be available).
Highlights for me for the Nov. 8th show are of course the memories it brings back. One thing I was surprised to see is the person filming caught Rammy looking over his shoulder twice . I am still convinced he was looking to see who the hell Elisabeth and I kept waving at Johnny of course looked AMAZING and sounded the same. OH so playful was our boy that night Glen looks like he just stepped out of some fashion magazine, just all dressed up, and Jonesy and Cookie look like they just got off the couch at home and went on stage Casual. This was the show where the band did "Baghdad was a Blast", and it IS on the DVD but not filmed as well as the rest because no one expected them to come back out and do it Jonesy and Glen were far more playful than I remembered, however my eyes were glued to John and Rammy most of the time ;D It was fun to watch (without being squashed to death like at the show) Rammy on the side ----this video is filmed from an angle that you can see him very closely, and I found it so cute and funny how ATTENTIVE the little man is to his job. He just doesn't have an easy moment during the whole show....constantly looking worried and trying to see around band members to potential stage crashers........he was clearly ready to pounce at a moment's notice Kudos to the Pint-sized Pugnacious One.
The show on the 12th was filmed just as well, only the person filming got moved right before Holiday in the Sun and missed that song so they spliced in the performance from the 8th to make up for it. Johnny again looked amazing, and sounded oh so good despite a very sore throat. He became a Chloroseptic commercial in several places, spraying his poor little throat. He also drank from a bottle (couldnt' tell what type liquor it was) and gargled with it too--- "medicinal purposes" said he . At one point Glen came over and whispered something to John, then Glen took the bottle over to Cookie who drank out of it , and returned it to Glen to return to John . Hope they have had their shots It was way cute. Glen and John made a point of walking out together with arms around each other twice, with John telling the audience to not believe everything they read. Way to stick up for Glen, Johnny
These shows are very much worth getting if you get the chance.......HOT HOT HOT.........(of course you just know my reaction every time John grabbed the family jewels and gave them a little squeeze and thrust ;D)
