I have only seen the Megabugs videos. John really impressed me with his respect for nature, how knowledgeable he was about the subjects (these were not dummies he was talking to--experts in the field), and re-pore with the people he interviewed. I enjoyed watching the medical segments too since I work in the medical field. It was interesting to see how useful many of the insects we find annoying or scary in our day to day lives are in fact to our human condition. John uses humor and personal curiosity to make each topic engaging. I liked the one on ants and the one on leeches the best . Oh and the one on spiders (which I am personally terrified of and was worried John would get bit throughout the whole segment ). I hate all of God's little creepy crawlies for the most part but John made me at least appreciate them . I would really like to see John do more of these types of shows. He has a great re-pore with children too and I think he would do great at making these types of shows interesting to kids of all ages. GREAT JOB Johnny!! (oh and our Rambo makes an appearance too )

I've only seen the Shark attack and thanks to youtube the episode with bees from megabugs. I'm an obsessed fan so obviously I'm going to say I loved both of them but I can honestly say I would've found both of the shows interesting even if I had no clue who John was. I have to agree with Snoogans4Jay it's his own curiosity about the subjects which makes the show so interesting, he has a very fresh and logical perspective on things and he chooses fascinating people for interviewing, not just scientists and professionals but regular people who have been in contact with the subject. And some of the facts he knows are amazing, I loved when on shark attack he said how many people were killed the year before by defective toasters and how many by sharks, I wish I remembered the exact numbers, but it was something like toasters: 700 or 800 and sharks: 4. But during the shows I too had to remind myself he is alive and well at the moment so everything must've gone well. I wish I'd have the chance to see the rest of the shows too! Anyway definitely worth to watch!

Thank you for telling a bit about the shark one as unfortunately, tragically, sadly I haven't seen it yet And we are not obsessed Elisabeth, just VERY VERY enthusiastic
