Does anyone else have this book? It is a coolection of essays about Johnny Rotten/punk etc... There are a few pictures in it I have not seen on the Picture Board Like the back cover shot of Johnny in bondage pants (smallish) and one of him attemping to kiss Africa Bambatta. I can scan them for you and send them to you if you do not have them. I can even put them on the forum if you tell me how!

The way I post pictures is to first save them on my computer, then upload to photobucket (you can get a free account), then put them here (you copy and past the last option under the desired photo on photobucket once uploaded there).......  I bet that was clear as mud........if anyone can do a better job explaining please do...  |

Am rereading England's Dreaming starting this weekend. It's a long one but determined to get through it again. I always pick up more on the second read of things I somehow missed the first time around with books.

My favorite part of England's Dreaming is the description of the early parties and how John was so shy about his body who would only take off his clothes under the covers....awww....so sweet:) I don't know if you have seen the concert video, but there is one from 2002 I THINK in California where John ripped his shirt open being all playful, then turned his back to re-button it and you can just SEE the little exclamation points cum up from his cute little head as he realizes he busted ALL the buttons  He turns around pulling the shirt together, tries to tuck it into his pants and realizes THAT isn't going to keep it together, and then finally asks the AUDIENCE for a safety pin to keep it together  . A girl gives him one and he re-fastens the shirt...........how ADORABLY unnecessary was THAT.....  .......you can just see how embarrassed he was ..... .....he loves to tease and show a nipple here and there but the thought of going open shirted on stage obviously unnerved the hellouta our Sexy Baby |
