Reasons Cookie gets ignored

Just thought it was time to create another list.....and since the poor little Cookster seems to get kinda overlooked, I thought why not start with him Of course I am sure he would have preferred a different subject matter

Reasons Cookie gets ignored:

1. He sits way the hell in the back during shows (he IS the drummer, but still )

2. He is quiet in most band interviews and doesn't interrupt

3. He dresses conservatively

4. His hair is just one color and he isn't prone to hat wearing

5. He often looks like he belongs in a different band

6. He doesn't have a flashy name like Rotten, Vicious, or Glen

My reasons would be....

1. He doesn't smile alot when he's performing....(don't be so blank....Cookie)

2. He's simply TOO CUTE for his own good.....

3. Poor drummers!! They are so often overlooked!!!!

4. What Snoogs said....(see above) about him looking like he belongs elswhere....

For me it has to be.. becuase Cookie was too calmed so anybody noticed him in the band I mean the crowd... but he was cute... I think Cookie comes in second after Johnny in my list of the miost fuckable Sex Pistols band memebers

.....he sometimes holds the mic for John during press conferences and is therefor mistaken for a reporter

......he looks like he is just having too much fun to have any real angst

......he appeared in a scene with Sting in The Filth and the Fury, thereby making some mistake him for a member of the Police

.....he often blends into the background/scenery

.......he doesn't have stripes on his head

........no Rambo

.......he is obscured by a drum kit and various stage fixtures during bootleg shows and viewers often forget he is even there until they hear a cymbal crash

1. he's really shy

2. dennis morris (sex pistols photographer) described him as one of the hardest spirits to capture on film. (hmmm...)

3. He IS more of a follower

4. He probably never really wanted to be in a huge band. he was content with becoming an electrician.


And in all seriousness, one of the reasons I think is because he's small and blonde. Small and blonde people = cute. Sex pistols = not cute. Paul Cook = Cute. Paul Cook = Sex Pistols? By the laws of mathematical equality, no he does not. hmmmm... lol

Also his mom was batfuck insane.

He always was shy and quiet, because he is a typical cancer like me.

The fucking drums are blocking him.

He went along with all of Malcolm's and Johnny's ideas, never suggesting something of his own.

Was just a drummer.

He was calm, little, blond and simple. That isn't a typical Sex Pistols look, that's something more like N'Sync.

He didn't appear much after the Sex Pistols.

He did a lot of stuff with Steve (Professionals)... and during the 80s he was focusing on session work and his family.

Paul is the best thing about the band and it isn't only cos he is blond and cute (and very sweet too) but he IS the band. without him the sex pistols wouldn't be the sex pistols. They need him! he is crucial to the sound.

Well you sounded pretty defensive in a post that is a joke about him being ignored. And it's pretty obvious that's its a joke and if you were taking it humorously you would have done so....but you didn't. not to sound like a bitch, but .... yeah.
