Well.............i think John was confused for a long time........probably up until say 1982-83.........at that time I think you can kind of see his general state of health and happiness change. He got the drug shit out of his life......and he was happy........I think Nora and Rammy AND having more control in PiL has a lot to do with that..........there is only one ring he wore for over 20 years........... |

Should anyone have a photo of the Teenage Sex Pistol in his preteen (or younger) years, could you post it on the other Pics site for Glen? He's the only baby Pistol whose photo is currently MIA. If you read the recent postings up there, you'll see we're trying to get a very important poll started but can't until we have young Glenny accounted for! thanks... |

I know a lot of people are reading John's book, which I need to read myself!
In the meantime, if anyone's looking for something else to read, Glen's book is great. It was recommended to me by Snoogs last year. Also, Phil who runs the God Save the Sex Pistols website, says it's one of the three books (John's being one of the others) that are essential reading for people interested in the Sex Pistols.
By the time I ended reading it, I was wishing there was more. Glen tells a great story, and of course, he unlike so many of the others who've written about the Pistols, was there from the beginning. And for what it's worth, my take for all the crap that's been written about his relationship with John is that the two genuinely like each other. I feel they were guys who were placed in the middle of a firestorm at a very young age. I don't know how I would have reacted in those shoes, especially with a guy like Malcolm stirring things up and causing problems. As if that's what was needed in the middle of all the chaos that surrounded them already back in the day!!
Anyway, bottom line is if you're looking for another good book on Pistols history to read, consider "I Was a Teenage Sex Pistol!"

Well, seeing how busy the little guy is and how John keeps him all concerned most times I don't think he would have time. Plus, God help me, I couldn't remember the url correctly to save my life when he asked me . He had to ask me twice, finally just gave up and said "nothing bad, right ?".........bless his heart...... Now GLEN on the other hand clearly just has nothing to do (what with fans running after him with oodles of stuff they have retained since birth) and somewhere like four bands of his own.... .....HE might see it  |
