Got my book a few days ago and it's truly amazing. I'm pretty busy because my boyfriend is visiting me at the moment so I haven't got around to read it yet. I did look through it though and it looks goooodddd, can't wait to read every word really carefully, lol. I did not get a golden ticket but I got this instead : And this is the autograph page: That's not my autograph, mine is a bit different. I found these pics on the internet because my camera isn't working at the moment.

awesome thanks so much for sharing that jrotten! You are so lucky to have the book, I envy you thank you for the photos, if you wouldn't mind posting more then I know I and many others would appreciate it no end but no rush/worry... I am more than aware of how cheeky it is to ask someone who's spent so much to let someone else see it for free wait, if these aren't photos of your book, where did you find them?

Got my book a few days ago and it's truly amazing. Nice one, Nooly. I got to get a look at this as it was covered in detail on The One Show tonight. It's all very artistically put together and has a ton of unreleased family pics. Nora looks amazing in a few of them. Not very much on the Pistols front but then again it's not a Pistols book. While I admit I do have some issues with Mr. Rotten's Scrapbook, mainly the cost (let's face it, if it wasn't limited edition and didn't come with a signature, it would probably have a price tag of around twenty quid - I could buy my next door neighbours second hand Ford Mondeo for the same price Johnny is flogging it for), it does look rather nice. Let's hope he releases a barebones hardcover version in the future, which I think is a dead cert. John was asked on The One Show as to how much he's making from the book and he said "nothing." Mmm, quick math. 750 x £450 ain't far from four hundred grand. Not saying he doesn't deserve it, mind. Just sayin'...

Btw, bromleyboy, I am in dead agreement with you there about the cost/value of the book, though I hate to say that if I had the spare cash and didn't have to worry about money I would probably buy it... even though that says worrying things about the extent of my John Lydon obsession I'm sure they could put out all of the photos minus the unique drawings, picture disc, signature etc for a tiny fraction of the price.

I cannot WAIT for this to go up on I-Player I couldn't watch it on telly, hopefully it'll be up tomorrow? It should be. It was an unexpected and watchable surprise. I like the way John doesn't let any of the two presenters talk over him. He's totally runs the show. Bromleyboy, I am in dead agreement with you there about the cost/value of the book, though I hate to say that if I had the spare cash and didn't have to worry about money I would probably buy it. We can all get extravagant with our spending. Just this Christmas gone, I received a framed signed copy of NMTB from my mum which cost over a grand (it does have Sid and Nancy's sigs on it too so it's justified). In 2007, I paid over six hundred pounds to see Led Zeppelin live at the 02 Arena. Back when I was a dope fiend, I blew £200 in one night on champagne and coke... ...but £450 for a book is where I draw the line.

Just sayin'... I honestly don't think that the book has sold much. And I heard before that the book was very expensive to make(?). I mean, I ordered my book quite late and I got number 300-something. I thought that I would get one of the last ones... I don't know if they send the books out in order from 1 - 750? but since I got 300-something (I don't remember the exact number lol) out of 750 there must be many left... wait, if these aren't photos of your book, where did you find them? You can see some photo's on this blog: zoofie.devote.se/blogs/8316270/mr-rotten-s-scrapbook.htmI wasn't able to take my own pictures so I hope that she doesn't mind that I'm posting the link

Someone was saying those live CDs that were being sold after the recent PiL gigs are now going so much cheaper, so perhaps in six months' time the book might be too? Not that that's much comfort to those of you that have already bought it Thanks for the link,I'm sure she wouldn't mind, she is putting them up on the internet for all to see!

I ordered my book quite late and I got number 300-something. I thought that I would get one of the last ones. Doesn't work that way, Noolies. The numbers on limited edition items are generally plucked at random. The DVD of Diary of the Dead came in a very limited edition numbered tin box with UK exclusive material. I bought mine about two weeks after it went on sale and got number 000007. I can guarantee you I wasn't the seventh person to buy it. Not that that's much comfort to those of you that have already bought it I like that idea a lot. If he shaved off two or three hundred I might consider buying it. The pre-sale price was £380. Here's to a post-sale price of £120!

[/quote] Lol, personally I think a book is much more important and fulfilling than booze and drugs...and Led Zeppelin:P It will last forever, and it's something personal. To be fair, it was "only" £380 when I bought it!

Oh no, don't get me wrong, they have a couple of songs I like...I prefer death and blackmetal though, Zeppelin just seems lame after that haha!

Loved Zeppelin, just no equal for blues rock/ stadium metal. I am also quite the death/black/thrash metal fan but as a much older person the bands I know best are from the 80s and I guess started the genre. Curious, who are the best of the genres today Jehnny? As to topic, the book IS just too damn expensive for some of us, but if I just had the cash extra, oh hell yeah
