Oh no, don't get me wrong, they have a couple of songs I like...I prefer death and blackmetal though, Zeppelin just seems lame after that haha! Loved Zeppelin, just no equal for blues rock/ stadium metal. totally with you on that! Even PiL covered "Kashmir"!

Actually most of the bands I listen to started in the 80s too, and early 90s, like Venom, Burzum, Darkthrone, Gorgoroth, Mayhem, Napalm Death, Carpathian Forest, Bathory, Carcass, Deicide, Entombed etc (yeah I listen to the hardcore stuff ) Bands like Dimmu Borgir and Cradle of Filth have changed so much for the worse since the 90s and have become just another ridiculous mtv feature...they were good until 2004. The best bands today of those genres are the ones I mentioned (and more) but some of their new albums are not that good (Darkthrone and Burzum have been pleasant surprises though!). Since I'm not into the new metal scene I don't know much about it. Yeah this was a bit off topic, but you asked

Seems the book is not selling as well as hoped. Only 750 available and there are quite a few copies left. The official website even let me add six to my cart and totalled it at £2814. Loved Zeppelin, just no equal for blues rock/ stadium metal. totally with you on that! Even PiL covered "Kashmir"! Indeed. And the show at the 02 was absolutely stunning. I was singing through tears. Actually most of the bands I listen to started in the 80s too, and early 90s, like Venom, Burzum, Darkthrone, Gorgoroth, Mayhem, Napalm Death, Carpathian Forest, Bathory, Carcass, Deicide, Entombed etc. Mayhem circa 1988-1991. That is all.
