Well, I've been posting for a while, but I've never introduced myself properly. I live in Chile and I love this board. Thank you for it! I find John to be utterly fascinating and beautiful... Let me say that again: BEAUTIFUL I love what he's done through his life. So intense and fiery. Well, I think that kind of sums it up. Thank you for such a great board. By the way, ¿¿¿¿When can I get my Suppot Group for Johnaholics password?  I'd love to have it.  |

So.I'm new (you've been waiting for my arrival, yes?) and I'd like to introduce myself. I'm a little USA girlchild. I listen to a lot of different things (PiL and Sex Pistols have a special place in my heart. Right next to Frank Sinatra.) I found this little piece of rebellion on a YouTube video and Just thought 'well screw my homework, let's go join a Johnny board!' (I wasn't originally going to join but- wow- you all are literate! You aren't airheaded DeadHeads! Any roleplayers to entertain me while i rampage through some forumns?)For fair Warning:I have a bit of a reputation for being a manipulitive, cynical, Nazi-bitch. I enjoy exploding into rooms with a nice 'O HAI  ! LET'S GET THE ADMINS TO HATE ME, YUH?' Seeing as I'm a tad-bit of a selfish whore, I like to chatter online (-sob- it makes up for my IRL lack of social depth) and I like to make friends online (I actually found the Sex Pistols through an RP forumn -that of which led me straight down to Earth and into the palm of a Mister Johnny Rotten. (Millenium. Millenium.) I won't lie and say that I'm very punk. I listen to music for music. I live on industrial (which is possibly why I love me some PiL and NIN), techno, swing, classical, and a shitload of in-betweens. This place seems fun. It's active. Got quite the fanbase, don't you John? Hope to find a home around here (I've already unpacked; don't bother dropping me, I can ditch when told.) And, I hope I can get a bit popular here. (Hopefully it won't make the admin hate me)

(Hopefully it won't make the admin hate me) You'll find that while there are many enthusiastic fans on this forum, but you'll also find that most people here do have other things that they are into that they are always willing to discuss. (I'm a creative writing major, history minor in college, a former classical ballerina and competitive gymnast, who loves all types of music, from classical era instrumental to industrial to pop, as well as any crime novels and any and all poetry.) As well, all opinions are always welcomed here, including those that go against what most or the rest of the forum thinks, and we only ask that everyone is treated with respect. : ) However, I'm going to warn you about this "being popular" thing - the point here isn't to be popular, but to be who you are. ; ) Express your opinion. Whatever. But be respectful and we will respect you in return. |

By the way! I'm Swedish (but live in Norway now as you can see in my profile...) So that explains my bad English Random, but one of my best friends in high school was from Sweden! I have always wanted to visit Sweden, because she always talked about how wonderful it was. |

Well, I'm Laura and I'm from the UK I've been a John Lydon fan for a couple of years now. What I mainly like about him is his stunning personality, originality and music Two of my top favourite songs would have to be 'This Is Not A Love Song' and 'Death Disco'. I'm usually quite quiet on forums but I always make an effort to check it out for updates and stuff and participate when I can. I also think I know a couple of you guys from the Nancy Spungen forum (my display name is -x-NancySpungen-x- on there. I fancied something different for this forum ) I found this forum via a link Snoogans posted on the NS forum, and I gotta say I'm thouroughly impressed! I had no idea there were this many John Lydon obsessed fans Its nice to know I'm not alone Anyway, I hope to settle well into this forum and get to know you guys. |
