New guy.......Preacher boy is named Shandon and he is a long haired Christian rocker (and no I haven't yet been burned by holy water or struck by lightning when visiting him... ...but there is still time ).......met him online and have met up with him twice so far since June of this year. Going good so far, we shall see. He is 34 which makes him quite a bit younger than me SOOOOOOOOOOO lets see.. ...we are not the same religion, he is younger, lives all the hell the way across the country.. ....do you think the odds are against us?

Opposites sometime attract & odds can just be sods! so you never know. I've noticed long distance relationships generally don't work BUT!! A couple I know met on-line (she was here) he was in bum fuck Idaho, they had comp se.... they met and he moved here, now they are happily married with two kids! so yeah! its possible. Just tell him you like U2 and LIVE it will be fine.

I'm from Western Oregon (Eugene), but I'm at college in Idaho right now. The weather sucks, the air is dry, and everyone is Mormon. Just kidding, but really. I'm a big fan of Portland - my sister lived there for many years. Hey, not everyone is a tree hugger or has tattoos. I mean, I have tattoos and care about the environment, but my family runs a logging company! BWAHA!!

Voodoo doughnut is bomb, but Dough Co in the EUG is better!!!

To Snoogs: What happens happens. Enjoy it now! That's the point of relationships. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't, but you know what? Part of the fun is the joyride.

I'll probably go to some partay's on campus. This year they're going to let trick-or-treaters into the dorms at my college!! I'm very excited. The kids should be out by 11 and then it will be party time. :]

Snoogs: lemme get this straight (a) you like Shandon, (b) things are going well (c) you live far apart, have gotten together 2x's in the past 4 months, but communicate regularly on line, and (d) he's younger than you.

SO WHAT'S THE PROBLEM?

So he's younger, so what - I think it's great.

What's more, here comes an example of a woman who's also happily involved with a younger guy: DEMI MOORE.

Well the trip to visit Shandon was semi-successful. We do have fun together but .. ...he appears to have a bit of a short fuse where John is concerned and my "fangirl" status. Stalker. Me ? I have never been anywhere near John's house or hotel. Well. Except for that time I probably stayed at his hotel. But actually it isn't fair to say it was HIS hotel . It was as much mine as his, I mean we both paid for rooms there

I suppose he will get over it, bless his heart (Shandon I mean, not John. John has no idea what I am babbling about ). Still it was irritating as hell . Otherwise we had a great time

I just got done with my first day of work.

I am drinking peppermint tea.

It is 10, almost 9, days till my fall break and when I get to go home!

My dorm room is nice and smells like pumpkin pie (because of my air freshener!)

I just ate a sandwich and I will go to bed soon.

My hair is wet.

A few questions - how old are the kids? Who has primary custody of them? Does he still live close enough to you so that you can see him often? And most improtantly...how do you truly feel about him?

DAMN Snoogs...I wish WE all lived close enough, as this would be a proper conversation to have over coffee at my house with you, Seaside, Joan, and a few others!!!
