Hmmmm...so let's assess the situation here - Our dear Ms. Snoogs has the young hottie who she's recently met PLUS the established older guy who she's had a relationship with (Thankfully, his children are grown, so there's no young kids running around to spoil her fun). Neither lives close by, so she's not bothered with the day-to-day male B.S...what should she do???

Life has punched me hard in the face.

1. My sister may give birth to my nephew either next month or in January - he will premature definitely. She went into preterm labor on Friday during a routine ultrasound and had surgery on Friday evening to suture her cervix closed (to prevent birth.) She is now on bedrest until the little tyke is born.

2. My brother did not pass his physical for getting his pilot's license and so he had to drop out of flight school. His physical was denied because he has social anxiety disorder and takes anti-anxiety medication. :[ He is so disappointed and I am afraid of how he will feel now that the one thing he felt he truly loved to do he isn't allowed to do. (To me, this looks like discrimination, but I suppose they have their reasons.)

Life is kind of in a disarray now. This has been a terrible weekend. What makes it worse is that I am over 600 miles from home and cannot be there to comfort either of my siblings.

Sorry to hear about that Mish, yeah sometimes life just kicks you in the proverbial nuts. I hope the baby will be born later rather than sooner. If your brother had panic disorder or something like that it would make sense, but I don't see how social anxiety disorder would affect him when flying. Not many crowds up there. May I just take a moment to bitch here? My guy gave me a "promise ring" over the holidays. I am SOOOOOOO tired of co-workers saying "oooo are you engaged, oooo is that REAL?" AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGgg I don't CARE if it is real or if he got it out of a Cracker Jack box. The man I love gave it to me and I could give a flying fuck how much he did or didn't spend on it. And NO we are not engaged is it your BUSINESS? You know, the hard thing is when you want someone to remain a friend who may not. And you are not sure of your decision being the right one. Who can say? I guess we are not given a road map in life, just emotions and common sense and lack thereof. Sometimes you would rather be hit with a moon rock than face up to those challenges but they have to be met. So be it. What will be will be and the pieces to the puzzle will stay where they fall, right or wrong.

Well I am the only one here now it seems .........so update

I am promised to one guy, another just stayed with me for a week and gave me 2500 hundred down on a new car........saved my ass again. Thanks Jackie. Now what of Shandon? We will "discuss" it at Valentine's Day when he comes here for a visit........discuss the "promise" ring and such.......gee.......what WILL come of that........of course with the prediction of the Mayan Calender I don't have to worry much longer

Hey y'all:

I'll be back and around more often now. I was diagnosed with interstitial cystitis today, which accounts for almost everything that has been wrong with me (health wise) for the last year and a half!! I am really excited to find out an answer and even though it means drastically changing my diet (no spicy foods, no tomatoes!!, very little cheese, very low acid foods from now on which means no salt and vinegar chips ) I'm glad that I'll be feeling better.

There was a chance that it could have been bladder cancer, so I'm ESPECIALLY glad that it was not that! I missed you guys and the board etc. etc.

Well thank GOD it isn't cancer.........but that is always such a scare. I am happy to hear it is getting straightened out and you are heading towards recovery! We will be very happy to see you back here!

Well in this little corner of my spinning pile, it seems the gentleman to whom I have been "engaged" since January has decided my life needed a bit more excitement so he has informed me that he has 4 kids. One is a teen that he doesn't see and has no "claim" to. The kid was adopted by his grandparents. The other three my guy pays child support for but talks to/sees about once a month. Of course I am thinking what my responsibility will be if we marry.

I think I have decided we won't marry legally. While I AM committed to being there for Shandon and helping him through this life we have been given, I will not commit to these kids legally in any way shape or form whatsoever. I have never wanted children and that is why I do not have any. He understands this and has known it since day one of our relationship. Hard ass? Maybe. Honest? Damn straight. WHY must every little thing be so damn complex.

Don't know what to say Snoogs. In my opinion it would be worse if he'd said he's married or whatever that happens...Are you goin' to mary in some other way or...? I assume you won't have to take care of them, will you? I don't want to have kids either, so I hope it won't happen to me one day. Fingers crossed for you, solve it soon

Wow - I'm thinking that I'm a little concerned that he hasn't mentioned having 4 children before, considering you are close enough to at least have considered marriage. Though, I suppose that if you have made clear your desires to not be involved with children, he may have been nervous about discussing it.

Still, 4 children, whether they live with him or not, are a big commitment. In my mind, they should be a big part of his life whether he is with their mother(s) or not. That means they will become part of your life if you stay with him. That doesn't mean you need to play "mom", but you will need to share his time with them and may be in family situations with them. It could be a very good experience if you approach it with an open mind & really love the guy.

Hope that things work out for you two.

I hate it when people at my callegue sees me as a wirdo or something.. I know of some who think I`m not good at makinf films but they don`t dare tell me because they think they are FUCKING better .. of course I trust myself and I said more thatn once that I^m going to kick their arses .. it might take time but I fucking will

Really? Could be interesting...Anyway, I know what you feel about your classmates or whoever they are. I do the same about mine. I can call them arseholes for many reasons. I'm not one of those crazy teenagers, you know, I'm maybe supposed to be. Idon't know what it is, to behave that way...Oh and I really may have a self-confidence...
